2017 Indigenous Learning Centre Bursary program



The Indigenous Learning Centre (ILC) is pleased to be offering nine (9) $1,000 Bursary Scholarships.  Bursaries are open to post-secondary students enrolled in the following Academic Programs: Business Administration; Business Management; Accounting; Commerce and/or other Finance related programs. Preference is given to Aboriginal students.

ILC PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Indigenous Learning Centre (ILC) Professional Development Scholarships are now available to the following:

• One (1) recipient who is currently enrolled or will enroll in a CAPA In-Person Session; and
• Two (2) recipients who wish to take AFOA Canada's online courses for the Certified Aboriginal Financial Management (CAFM) Program or Certified Aboriginal Professional Administrator (CAPA) Program.

AFOA CANADA ENGAGEMENT REPORT
Input from AFOA Canada members on five INAC policies and legislation

We are pleased to provide you with a report on our members input into the five (5) Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada policy and legislation areas: Treasury Board Transfer Payment Policy; General Assessment; Funding Agreement Models; Default Prevention and Management Policy and Accountability and Transparency. 

The information in this report will be used in the "New Fiscal Relationship" discussions between the Government of Canada and the Assembly of First Nations.
