Job Opportunity at AFOA Canada: Bookkeeper

AFOA Canada is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the role of full-cycle bookkeeper at AFOA Canada. This position is responsible for processing payroll and maintaining payroll records, bank accounts and reconciling the financial system (GL and all sub-ledgers). The Bookkeeper also provides analysis, support and advice on accounting issues required. Prepares interim financial statements, year-end accounting records for external audit, acts as liaison between various levels of tax authorities and government agencies, as well as filing periodic tax and information returns. This position is responsible for general accounting and overseeing accounts payable/receivable functions and is the first point of contact for the external auditors.
