New Opportunity to Obtain a CAFM Designation
AFOA Canada in partnership with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and Fanshawe College offer a new opportunity for individuals studying to obtain their Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager (CAFM) designation through the CAFM Education Program or for persons who qualify for Special Arrangement B. Under this partnership, Fanshawe College will deliver several of AFOA Canada’s CAFM courses through a combination of in-class and on-line studies.
CAFM 14 - In-class Sessions
The first course offered is CAFM 14 (Fanshawe College course code BUSI 1196) beginning in January 2020. This course will include six Saturday sessions that will be delivered in-class at Fanshawe College, the London Ontario campus, on the following dates:
- January 18, 2020
- February 8, 2020
- March 7 & March 28, 2020
- April 4 & April 18, 2020
Subsidies & Sponsorship Opportunities
CPA Canada has made subsidies available to cover the cost of travel and accommodation for the in-class studies. The Indigenous Learning Centre also has made available a number of Professional Development Scholarships for participants who are seeking funds to cover the cover the cost of travel and accommodations Additional course offerings will become available in subsequent semesters at Fanshawe College.
