Bio of Leonard M. Shaw, CA•CIRP, CFP, CAFM
Len Shaw is a Trustee in Bankruptcy, Chartered Accountant, Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager, and a Certified Financial Planner who also has a Certificate in Management from the Canadian Institute of Managers. Len graduated from Cape Breton University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting and a Certificate in Public Administration.
Len has assisted with the financial management of the Relocation of the Mushuau Innu form Davis Inlet to Sango Bay, Labrador. Len also presented information sessions on Aboriginal Venture Capital at various First NAtion communities including the Mushuau Innu First Nation, Sango Bay, NL, Sheshatshiu Innu First Nation, Northwest River, NL, Miawpukek First Nation, Conne River, NL, Metepenagiag Mi'kmaq Nation , Red Bank, NB, Eskasoni First Nation, NS. In addition, he has met with Economic Development Officers from ACOA and several First Nations to discuss an Aboriginal Venture Capital Fund. Len has also assisted with Third Party Management of INAC and Health Canada programs.
Len has also been involved with audit and accounting assignments for various First Nations and their related entities.
