Bio of Robbin Sinclaire-Chenier, CA, MBA, PMP, CAFM
Robbin is a senior consultant with a broad range of experience in both the private and public sectors. In addition to being a member in good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC, Ontario and NWT/NU, and a founding member of the CTT Chapter of the Project Management Institute, Robbin has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University. She is also recognized as a Certified Aboriginal Financial Manager and holds two additional accreditations – the internationally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) and the US accounting designation, Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Robbin is also enrolled in a Masters of Law program at Osgoode Hall specializing in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
After completing the Chartered Accountancy program with the Office of the Auditor General of Canada in Ottawa where she contributed on several financial attest and value for money audits, Robbin worked in the resource sector through several change management initiatives and restructuring efforts undertaken by a number of large publicly traded corporations. For over ten years, Robbin has managed her own consulting practice providing advice to senior officials with the federal and territorial governments and related northern-based entities with a primary focus on financial management and accountability.
Robbin provides her services under SILA Management Services Inc., a Federally-incorporated business headquartered in Nunavut.
