CALL FOR CONTRIBUTORS FOR THE FALL 2019 EDITION

Get your message & brand in front of key Indigenous decision makers, community members and this country’s largest Association of Indigenous Professionals. We are now accepting advertisements and articles for the 25th issue to be released in October.

AFOA Canada 
invites article abstracts for contributions from professionals and educators who wish to write for the 25th edition of the Journal of Aboriginal Management (JAM). JAM will be published and distributed to our members and made available to all First Nation Communities. Articles must be translated into French as this Journal is published in both official languages. Should you require assistance for translating, our team can assist. Please be advised that an additional fee will apply depending on the length of the article.

In order to plan for our 25th, the space confirmation deadline is June 14, 2019.
The material deadline is July 26, 2019.

This edition of JAM will focus on the theme of
Managing Through Disruptions

It provides;
  • information on professional trends and innovations in Indigenous finance, management and governance
  • interviews with leaders from across Canada
  • articles from national and regional experts on various business related topics
  • profiles of community based projects and initiatives
  • information on professional development resources and; 
  • solutions for the Indigenous Professionals and the communities they work with.

SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION

AFOA Canada members receive a free subscription to JAM: The Journal of Aboriginal Management. The Journal will be published semi-annually – once in February and once in October. The Journal is automatically mailed to members and can also be accessed by logging into the Members Only Area .

Non-members can subscribe to JAM for $50.00 per year. To obtain a subscription, please call AFOA Canada toll free at 1-866-722-2362 or download the PDF Subscription Form
