Call for Presentations and Success Stories
Tell us about an initiative, project or program and how it contributes towards improving lives in First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities and creating a positive change towards the Indigenous Economy. How does it helps to educate and build capacity for your leadership and/or governance? Is it a local, regional or national initiative and are you partnering with federal, provincial or municipal governments, corporate Canada, educational institutions, non-profits or other Indigenous organizations? Tell us how your First Nation, Inuit or Métis organization is actively demonstrating best practices that contribute to positive change? Do you have a success story to share and from which we can all learn from?
Concurrent workshops focus on five themes:

- Management, Finance and IT – Best practices in management, finance and information technology
- Business Development – Featuring success stories and trends in community business development and entrepreneurship
- Wealth Creation – Featuring trends and best practices in creating community wealth
- Human Capital – Creating healthy work environments that reflect Indigenous cultures

Deadline for Submissions
The deadline for submissions has been extended to Friday, November 8, 2024 at 5:00pm ET. The submissions should be prepared in Word format and the description should be the final version for the conference program. Please send your submissions by email to the AFOA Canada Conference Secretariat at conference@afoa.ca.
