If you have an article you would like included in the next issue of JAM, you will first need to submit an application for reservation of space. If approved for inclusion, you will need to submit the following items by the submission deadline:

      1. Completed article (max. 2,500 words)
      2. Completed article in French. If unable to provided a French copy, AFOA Canada will arrange to have the article translated and invoice you for the service.
      3. Author(s) biography (max. 200 words) in both English and French.
      4. Author(s) photo: high resolution (300 dpi) as a separate file in JPEG, TIFF or PNG formats.
      5. Any additional photos for inclusion within the article body: high resolution (300 dpi) as a separate file in JPEG, TIFF or PNG formats.

If you have an ad that you would like included in the next issue of JAM, you will first need to submit an application for reservation of space. If approved for inclusion, you will need to submit the following items by the submission deadline:

      1. Finalized, high resolution ad. Please consult the ad specifications for more detailed information.
      2. French version of the ad. If necessary, AFOA Canada can arrange to have the article translated and invoice you for the service. The translated text will be sent back to you for layout by your designers.

Apply for a Space in JAM

This is the application to reserve article or ad space in the upcoming issue of the Journal of Aboriginal Management (JAM). Submitting this form indicates your interest in contributing to our upcoming issue, it does not guarantee a space.

It is not necessary to submit your content immediately. Your proposed content will be reviewed and you will be emailed if it is approved. AFOA Canada reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or defer any proposed content.

Submission Process

1. Apply for space by submitting the form to the left. This must be done by the space reservation deadline. A copy of your application will automatically be emailed to you.

2. AFOA Canada will review your application. If your proposed contribution is accepted, you will receive an email confirming your space has been reserved in JAM. This confirmation email will contain instructions for submitting final content.

3. Submit your final content by the submission deadline, following the instructions in your acceptance email. Your submission must contain all required elements listed on this page.

4. Your content will be reviewed and edited for publication. You may be contacted during this process if further information is required. AFOA Canada reserves the right to edit, cancel, or defer any content.

5.The issue is released by the publication date and will be announced on the website and in our newsletter. You will also receive an email notifying you of publication.

6. You will be invoiced for any applicable charges following publication.
