Call for Contributors for JAM 30

AFOA Canada invites article abstracts and advertisements from professionals, educators and organizations who wish to contribute to the next edition of the Journal of Aboriginal Management (JAM).

The 30th edition of JAM will focus on the theme of Building Social Capital:

  1. Why is building social capital important and how can  someone build it regionally and nationally?
  2. What is the value of networking for Indigenous communities?
  3. What tools are available to build your network and how does social media help or hinder building your social capital?
  4. How do Indigenous values inform networking practices?
  5. More companies are operating in a virtual environment with their employees working remotely. How can networking successfully be accomplished virtually?
  6. How can Corporate Canada better network with indigenous communities in the spirit of reconciliation?

The Journal of Aboriginal Management (JAM) is the only professional journal in Canada for Indigenous Professionals in the management, finance and governance fields. This biannual journal focuses on professional trends and innovations in these fields and includes interviews with leaders, articles from experts that profile community-based initiatives and best practices, as well as advertisements from professional organizations that are at the top of their field. This Journal is intended to help you be on the leading-edge of key Indigenous management, finance and governance issues that will impact your career and business.
