Contribute to the Journal of Aboriginal Management

Write or advertise in the upcoming issue of the Journal of Aboriginal Management (JAM). Issue 33 will focus on the theme of Infrastructure: Building a Better Tomorrow. Infrastructure is more than just buildings and construction, it touches on all aspects of community life including connectivity, health, and sustainability. This issue will shed light on Indigenous involvement in and access to infrastructure. Topics may include planning, procurement, training, best practices, maintenance of projects, and more:

  • What are the infrastructure considerations Indigenous communities need to make today in order to build a better tomorrow?
  • What are the barriers Indigenous communities face with regards to infrastructure? What measures can be taken to close the gap?
  • Success stories: What are some of the unique ways Indigenous communities have navigated the barriers to quality infrastructure?
  • How can building capacity to deal with infrastructure projects help Indigenous peoples exercise their right to self-determination?
  • In what ways can Indigenous peoples improve sustainability through infrastructure projects?
  • How are Indigenous communities addressing climate change through infrastructure?
