AFOA Canada is offering professional development scholarships to Indigenous youth to attend the National Conference in Halifax, NS, February 25-27, 2025, to learn about professional opportunities and strengthen their knowledge and skills.

Pre-Conference Workshop and National Conference Delegate (1), sponsored by Mawer

AFOA Canada, with sponsorship from Mawer Investment Management Ltd, will award a professional development scholarship to one Indigenous youth to attend a Pre-Conference workshop on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 and the National conference from February 25-27, 2025. It is open to Indigenous youth aged 19-29 who are pursuing careers in management, finance and/or governance. The scholarship will include pre-conference registration, conference registration, travel expenses, accommodation and meals.

AFOA Canada, with sponsorship from Bird Construction Inc., will award a professional development scholarship to one Indigenous youth to attend a Pre-Conference workshop on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 and the National conference from February 25-27, 2025. It is open to Indigenous youth aged 19-29 who are pursuing careers in management, finance and/or governance. The scholarship will include pre-conference registration, conference registration, travel expenses, accommodation and meals.

National Conference Delegates (2), sponsored by Scotiabank

AFOA Canada, with sponsorship from Scotiabank, will award professional development scholarships to two Indigenous youth to attend the National Conference. It is open to Indigenous youth aged 19-29 who are pursuing careers in management, finance and/or governance. The scholarship will include conference registration, travel expenses, accommodation and meals.

National Conference Delegates (3), sponsored by CPA Education Foundation

AFOA Canada, with sponsorship from the CPA Education Foundation, will award professional development scholarships to three Indigenous youth to attend the National Conference. It is open to Indigenous youth, aged 19-29, who are from Alberta or studying in Alberta, and who are pursuing careers in management, finance and/or governance. The scholarship will include conference registration, travel expenses, accommodation and meals.
