Request for Proposals: CIHRP Review

AFOA Canada is seeking a consultant to review the Certified Indigenous Human Resources (CIHRP) program and its competencies.

The objective of this contract is to review the program and the competencies that are the basis of the CIHRP Program and make recommendations for the revision of curriculum and course materials.

The Certified Indigenous Human Resources Professional (CIHRP) designation was developed in 2019-2020. The CIHRP Program is specifically designed to set high quality competency standards and provide learning opportunities to enhance the knowledge and professional development of human resources administrators working in Indigenous communities and organizations on-reserve, off-reserve and in remote, rural and urban settings. Through this program, human resources professionals learn how to significantly enhance their workplace performance and successfully fulfill their mandates to provide optimal service to meet the needs of their communities and organizations. There are currently ten courses offered over the course of ten days. For those who are not interested in the full designation program there are five one day workshops, that are aligned and also to be updated.
