AFOA Canada is seeking a consultant to review, revise and develop the curriculum for the three Dollars & Sense modules.

The consultant will undertake new research on the needs of Indigenous youth, including those living in various locations; develop online learning modules to support independent learning; update the current modules for in person facilitation; conduct a pilot of the materials; finalize materials post pilot.

The Dollars and Sense Program was first developed in 2010/11. It is a financial literacy program for Indigenous Youth, developed with the support and assistance of TD Bank Group. Our goal with the program is to expose Indigenous youth to financial concepts and learn how to manage money to reach goals that will help youth set financial goals and be successful now and into the future.
