AFOA Canada is seeking a consultant to review, revise and develop curriculum for our Certified Indigenous Human Resources Professional (CIHRP) program and additional courses.

The objective of this contract is to review the reports of the CIHRP competency survey and interviews, and revise and develop curriculum for our 10 CIHRP courses (along with 1 CAPA course and 5 HRME workshops) to align with competency changes, current Indigenous community realities and mainstream best practices.

The Certified Indigenous Human Resources Professional (CIHRP) designation was first offered in 2020. The purpose of the CAPA Education Program is to support Indigenous communities and organizations meet the growing need for human resources leadership tailored to Indigenous realities. CIHRPs are integral parts of a healthy community and organization. The CIHRP Program is specifically designed to set high quality competency standards and provide learning opportunities which will enable human resources leaders working in Indigenous communities to gain the knowledge and skills required to lead human resources aspects of human resources in remote, rural and urban settings.
