Scholarships Available via the ILC
If you are working towards an AFOA Canada certification or are interested in enrolling in one of our programs, the Indigenous Learning Centre has scholarships available that can help.
The Indigenous Learning Centre is a registered charity that promotes education in finance, management and leadership for Indigenous Peoples living within Canada. Their scholarships are intended to offset the registration costs for AFOA Canada courses and help qualified candidates who do not have the financial resources required to pursue one of AFOA Canada’s designations.
AFOA Canada programs that are currently eligible for scholarships:
- Certified Indigenous Human Resources Professional (CIHRP) In-Person (Virtual) Sessions
- Certified Aboriginal Professional Administrator (CAPA) In-Person (Virtual) Sessions
- Certified Indigenous Leadership (CIL) In-Person (Virtual) Sessions
- CAFM and CAPA Online Courses
Please note: it is recommend that you first enroll in the AFOA Canada program of your choice and then apply to the ILC for a scholarship. If you’d like more information on the Certification programs, please visit the Certifications page.
